Competition Format
The 18+ doubles categories* begin with a group stage, divided by levels 3.5 (Intermediate) and 4.0+ (Advanced).
The top two teams in each group advance to the elimination stage, while the bottom two move to a B Draw (consolation bracket).
If there are not enough teams (minimum of 4), categories may be merged.
Singles will be Open category only, with no consolation draw.
Group Stage Matches: 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
Elimination Stage:
Round of 16 / Quarterfinals: 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
Semifinals: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
Final: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
3rd/4th Place: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
* Players under 18 may participate in the 18+ categories, starting from age 13 (by December 31, 2025), with written consent from their legal guardian.
Seniors
The 50+ and 60+ (Open) categories** begin with a group stage, with the top two in each group advancing to the elimination stage. A minimum of 3 matches per player/team is guaranteed.
Group Stage Matches: 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
No consolation draw.
Elimination Stage:
Round of 16 / Quarterfinals: 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
Semifinals: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
Final: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
3rd/4th Place: best of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
** Players in the 60+ category may also compete in the 50+ category. These are separate competitions with different PPT Ranking points.
Rules and Rankings
All matches follow the USA Pickleball 2025 Official Rulebook, Portuguese translation by the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) – Portuguese 2025 Official Rulebook, including the approved paddle list.
Points earned in this tournament count toward the PPT Ranking.
All matches are also registered with DUPR, and seeding is based on the DUPR rating system.
Cancellations
If the event is cancelled, registration fees will be fully refunded.
Participant cancellations are accepted until November 9, 2025 (inclusive). After registration closes, refunds will only be issued if a replacement player is found by November 12, 2025.
If a registered player withdraws after the draw is published, a walkover loss will be recorded, impacting results in the competition bracket.
Image Rights
By registering for the tournament, all players authorize the organizer to capture and use their image during the event for sound, photographic, and video dissemination purposes.
